The Eurovision 2025 Grand Final concluded in a spectacular fashion in Basel, Switzerland, with the UK achieving a respectable 88 points - but all from the juries. The 69th edition of the international song contest saw Austria take home the coveted title.

This year, the UK was represented by Remember Monday, who performed their track, What The Hell Just Happened?, on the Swiss stage. The pop trio, consisting of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele, captivated the audience with their song, which draws inspiration from their friendship and upbringing in Hampshire.

They were the eighth act to grace the stage during Saturday's grand event. The group amassed a total of 88 points, securing the 19th spot.

However, they faced disappointment as they received zero points in the public vote for the second consecutive year. The UK is part of the Big 5, which also includes France, Germany, Italy and Spain, reports the Liverpool Echo.

This year's song contest saw 37 countries participate, with 26 making it to the grand final. Alongside the Big 5, this included last year's victor, Switzerland, and the 20 semi-final qualifiers.

The UK has been a constant presence in every Eurovision Grand Final since 1959 and has clinched the top spot five times. The winner is decided by a mix of points from national juries and viewer votes in the participating countries, supplemented by a separate global poll.

The grand final was broadcast on BBC One at 8pm on Saturday with Graham Norton providing commentary. For those preferring radio, live coverage was available on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, hosted by Rylan Clark and Scott Mills.

Historically, the UK has struggled to secure points in the public vote, occasionally ending up with nul points from the voting public of each participating country. We have provided a comprehensive breakdown of the scores Remember Monday received, detailing which countries awarded the UK nul points.
