Star of the hit franchise Twilight Taylor Lautner has joined the line-up for Liverpool Comic Con.

Lautner is best known for playing Jacob in the fantasy film saga, one third of the love triangle with Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, and Edward, played by Robert Pattinson. The hugely popular series saw fans divided into 'Team Edward' and 'Team Jacob' as people tried to predict who Bella would end up with.

Lautner has also featured in a number of comedy series including The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids, as well as starring in the BBC sitcom Cuckoo as the son of the titular character. He'll be at both days of the convention, from Saturday, April 1 to Sunday, April 2.

He joins a star-studded line-up for the event, with other guests including Doctor Who and House of the Dragon star Matt Smith, his House of the Dragon co-star Paddy Considine, and Stranger Things' Matthew Modine. The popular event is a regular convention geared towards comic book lovers, sci-fi fans and cosplay enthusiasts, and Liverpool Comic Con is the North West's largest comic book and film fan convention.

It also boasts some of the UK's biggest celebrity guest exclusives, with previous conventions featuring appearances from stars from huge series' like The Vampire Diaries, Peaky Blinders, Matilda, One Tree Hill, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and more.

The convention is held in the Exhibition Centre Liverpool twice a year, for one weekend in April and one in November. At the last convention in November 2022, Vampire Diaries stars Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, as well as Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin Henderson in the hit Netflix series, were all in attendance.
